My desktop icons are gone
Very evidently when changing something, I did something wrong. All icons on my desktop are gone. Taskbar is in place and all is right there.
Emailing me is fine.

No, but what I did was deleted Firefox, and started using a different browser. I like Firefox and support Mozilla. I am not sure what happened but using the new Windows browser is well, OK for now.

How is that related to Firefox support?
The "Desktop" is part of the Windows environment. The only way that I think of that Firefox could be involved in the loss of all your desktop shortcuts icons, is if a new Firefox Profile was created inadvertently on the Desktop and then that Profile was Deleted via the Profile Manager.
Is that what happened?
