HOW CAN I REMOVE YAHOO COMPLETELY FROM MY COMPUTER
i want control of my computer i do not like yahoo and want it gone i donate to firefox yearly but will never do it again after this fucking hassle with yahoo i am 67 and very computer illiterate so i do not understand most things and the instructions i read are complicated and confusing

The en-US Firefox web browser from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ comes with Yahoo as the default search engine since Firefox 34.0 as Google is no longer the global default search engine in Firefox in any locale as different locales have different default search engines now.
You can change what search engine to use in Search Bar or on the default about:home homepage.

Also Firefox 51.0 is not a Release as it is currently on the Beta channel with the current build at 51.0b3.
