After last update to 45.3.0 I cannot send mail with smtp to our exchange server any longer. The server seems to work ok for others in our company. They run on Windows 8.1 also with thunderbird and I have windows 10. I get an error message in swedish telling me that the message couldn't be sent for an "unknown reason". Here is the swedish error message. I have replaced the servername with xxxx. "Det gick inte att skicka meddelandet. Meddelandet kunde inte skickas med hjälp av utgående server (SMTP) xxxx.local av okänd anledning. Kontrollera att dina inställningar för utgående server (SMTP) är korrekta och försök igen. " I tried to enable logging to see if I could find anything myself but it is no much use for me. I can access my mail from outlook web access but I really prefer thunderbird! Mats Edited 2016-09-27: After I wrote this question I researched some more. In the update history I found that the thunderbird update was made 2-3 weeks ago and it has been working since then. It must have been something with the windows update. Either on my win 10 station or on the server. I also enabled the error console. There are a few errors in there that seems to come when I start thunderbird. If I clean the console and try to send a mail, no error message comes up in the error console.
