Thank you!
OK, so I took a screenshot and the line is actually a black dotted line. It goes around the entrie embedded swf. I have tried various things in the html pages itself but to no avail.
Can you provide a public link to that web page?
Sorry, but I can't provide a link but if there's something more specific you want to look at or ask I'll hopefully be able to accommodate. I have now checked previous dev revisions and they are all now showing the same rather irritating border. Also checked with Opera and IE and they don't show this border...
The reason I asked for a link is because there could be several reasons for that showing up. Hard to tell without looking for ourselves.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
I restarted Firefox in safe mode and also updated my graphics drivers. the issue is still there..
Is the above from only one website, or are there others?
Ive checked a couple of other flash sites and it appears that its just my dev site that is effected

Done all the above and still have the problem. There is a webpage for my app that I can direct you to but I cannot post it here... is there an emmail address I can send via?

Pherpahs it might be an idea for all browsers to follow suit iin this context so that little work-arounds would not have to be fashioned on a browser by browser basis.. just a wild dream...
That is above my paygrade. But then again, we don't get paid :-/
