I'm running Arch Linux and unlike on my Windows OS, the default fonts for Firefox don't display hiragana/katakana/et cetera. All I get is unicode fallback symbols (the black boxes with four numbers/letters inside. Also, I can't seem to find a way to import my system fonts (which have no problem displaying foreign symbols), alternative character encoding obviously doesn't cut it. No helpful extensions either. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
