Sorry to hear about the crashes, and thank you for the report IDs. They are all the same problem: Based on my layman's understanding, Firefox is crashing when trying to write the certificate blocklist to disk, which is the file named revocations.txt in your currently active profile folder.

Let's try to remove the existing file and see whether that helps.

First, set Windows to show hidden files and folders. See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files

Next, copy the following "shortcut" and paste it into the Windows system search box (on the charms bar?) and press Enter to launch it in Windows Explorer:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

That should display one or more folders with semi-random names. If there's only one, double-click into it. (If there are multiple folders, you can repeat the process with each one.)

Scroll down and look for revocations.txt -- by default, Windows hides common file extensions like .txt, so in that case, you might see only revocations with a file type of Text Document.

Right-click the file and rename it something like revocationsOLD.txt in case we need to undo this.

Will Windows let you do that? If so, after doing the rename, start Firefox again and see whether it will run. Any improvement?

Oh... one other thought: if this problem started after doing Windows updates or new software installations, and you haven't shut down and restarted Windows recently, try that first. Sometimes after system updates Firefox doesn't have full permissions and may have odd glitches accessing your profile folder.

hi, thanks for providing a crash report id. this may be an issue caused by your norton security software that is hooking into firefox and causing it to crash (maybe through a program/signature update done by them). can you please try to disable norton temporarily and see if you can get firefox to launch again & please also get in contact with their support...

There should only be one, so the others definitely do not belong and can be deleted. Do they have numbers, like revocations-1.txt, revocations-2.txt or how do they coexist?

I would rename the revocations.txt file and delete the numbered files.
