I have 244 bookmarks and I am not able to put any more, is there a maximum number of bookmarks for Firefox 20.0?
I want to add more bookmarks. If I were to put bookmarks in folders would that give me room to add more bookmarks?

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
The System Details list next to the question shows that you run an older Firefox 20.0 version that is no longer supported with security updates. Always update Firefox and Add-ons to the latest versions to get all security fixes.
Please update to the current Firefox 46.0.1 release.
