How to edit tabs in the bookmarks bar?
I want to shorten the site names in the tabs of the bookmarks bar. For example, instead of saying "Day By Day Cartoon" the tab can simply say "Day" and I'll still know what it means. That way, I can have more bookmarks easily available.

Try right-clicking the bookmark and choosing Properties.
That should open a small dialog that lets you edit the "Name" -- which is the part displayed on the Bookmarks Toolbar or Bookmarks menu. The "Location" is the address, so be careful not to accidentally change that.
