I have a feeling the two are connected somehow but I'm not sure how to fix this. At least with windows essentials I was able to copy this to specific folders but I'm sure sure where to more this or to somehow why firefox hasn't fixed this if its not just me.

How do I fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and also went to the firefox page and ran the install from there which I'd always hope would fix things.

I'm using windows 10 updated PC and Firefox 45 as far as what the update file from the main Mozilla page told me on the update.

Thanks

I did some research and it would appear that the issue is related to a Windows Live component.1

You can try reinstalling Windows Live or you can try the solution provided here.

I did try to look into that and it didn't seem to work for firefox. I went through and had to copy the files for each individual program for windows essentials to work but I would have hoped uninstalling firefox and reinstalling would have put the files in thier place if it didn't find on install.

My next step is probably marking my apps cleaning my profile, but I did at least update my addons and remove the ones I could [especially yahoo toolbar which snuck on there and cause troubles with facebook.]. The removing and updating at least got rid of the unsure add-on warnings.

Thanks if you come across anything more.
