Sorry to hear about the crashes. I think you pasted from a Mozilla crash report. Could you give us the report IDs for the recent crash reports you submitted? That allows us to see whether the reports are linked to a known bug as well as to get a clearer idea of where Firefox crashed in the startup process. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page or, if Firefox won't stay up that long, from disk.

I think unfortunately those new reports were not successfully submitted if the codes do not show up in the folder. I'm not sure how to submit them now other than to click each link on the about:crashes page. Can you get even one of them to submit?

Apparently the fact that they are not sent part of the problem . At the moment, I turned off the firewall , but the reports are not sent ( and apparently never saved ) . There are other ways ?

I think Firefox doesn't support any versions of Windows earlier than 5.1, which is Windows XP. Could you check whether your Firefox desktop shortcut has a "compatibility" option set to emulate an earlier version of Windows, such as Windows 2000? Here's how:

• Right-click the shortcut and choose Properties
• Click the Compatibility tab
• Uncheck anything that is set on this tab so Firefox can use all the native features of Windows XP

In case the update corrupted the program files, could you try this (apologies that it is based only on an English-language Windows):

Clean Reinstall

We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean (no inconsistent or alien code files). As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.

(A) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 43.0 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)

(B) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).

(C) Rename the program folder as follows:

(64-bit Windows folder names)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

to

C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

(32-bit Windows folder names)

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
