Incoming size limit
I'm new to Thunderbird and still finding my way around.
Clients are telling me that certain mails are not getting through to my inbox, namely when they attach pics, vids etc., with Thunderbird telling them that the message size is too large.
Unsure as to how to fix this, and indeed whether Thunderbird does block messages with attachments over a certain size.
Grateful for any help

Your provider might be blocking but Thunderbird does not. Thunderbird does not communicate with people sending you mail. It downloads messages that make it into your Inbox on your providers server. Ask your provider about any limits they might have.

There are the server limits of the sender and also server limits for recipient server.
Example: sender server may allow 25Mb, but email is still not going to be received if the receiving server will only allow eg: 15 MB and the email is 20MB.
If the emails are not actually being received on the server - this sounds like the case, then they cannot be downloaded by Thunderbird.
Perhaps the sender should reduce the size of their files or use another method like DropBox for large files. This link has info regarding Thunderbird sending large files, but the idea of using eg; Dropbox etc for larger files would also apply to others.
