TB Downloading Messages Again and Again and Very Slow

Hi All,

I have only around 2000 emails on my Hotmail. I use Thunderbird (latest update), with IMAP. I do not know why Thunderbird is downloading my messages again and again, and that too very slow. It hangs up every time. Please see attached screenshot of the bottom portion of Thunderbird. The message header amount is in millions! Please advise.

Hi LS, with IMAP the Mails are only on the Mailserver. On every start TB must be download the Maillist. Try to MOVE your mails from Inbox in new Folders like Archiv or else. TB will be faster when your inbox is not so full.
