I'm using 41.0.1 on my macbook, and every time I try to use the 'bookmark all tabs' I get the 'add bookmarks' and 'cancel' buttons, but the add option never goes through. The cancel button disappears, and the web pages won't respond. the only ways out are to force quit the program, where all the wanted bookmarks are now registered, or hit cancel which works fine. Even when I'm just trying to bookmark two or three pages together the same problem happens. I've tried Refreshing, and the problem is still there. This has been going on for a few days now, maybe a week.

I am not seeing an issue on windows or mac in a new profile. Can we try the basic troubleshooting to determine if its an issue with an add on.

Try Safe Mode first: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode Second try to disable the extensions and themes one by one: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database file then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database file from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

Neither works, but downgrading to 40.0.3 everything works like it should.
