Schedule firefox sync

Is there a way to schedule Firefox sync with Android? Often I have a web page on my desk top that would be handy to access on the road using my phone, but I find the sync only happens once a day, and usually that's too late.

thanks

Hi

I have had a look and I cannot see anything I would be certain would work. I would not want to suggest something that would not work or (worse still) break your copy of Firefox.

That said, Firefox for Android is an active project and this is something they may want to look into. I will feed it back to the team so that they can consider it for the future.

Hi

One way to handle this would be to force a sync to occur on your phone.

In Android, go to your Settings, Accounts and in the Firefox account, choose "sync now" in the menu there.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Sorry, but there is no "Accounts" section in my Android settings menu.

Hi

Tricky to point you exactly in the right direction as different manufactures make small changes to Android such as menu order.

There will be an option in Settings to see the accounts you have set up on the device, such as your Google account, any other email accounts and (if you have it set up), your Firefox Sync account.

I found it! Thanks, this is helpful. Any other ways of doing it, or making the sync happen on a more regular basis?
