It seems to just be happening with Facebook but it freezes to the point that I cannot move the cursor. Ctrl alt del does nothing. The only option it to turn the laptop off completely and restart it. I have just gone through the process of a factory reset with Vista and the same thing is still happening. I synced Firefox before hand so is it my settings somewhere? I do have Adblocker, Ghostery and such installed too. I'm going to try Facebook on Explorer and see if it still freezes. I tried turning off the graphic acceleration thingy as someone suggested in another forum but it still happens. I can't believe that it is simply the laptop overheating as it seems to be so focused on just one site. Many thanks in advance to you all for help!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
