Now when I go back to New Tab, I can't find the webpage that I saw earlier, but I can still only see 8 "pins". When I go to bookmarks and drag a new website to the New Tab, I can see more pins, but as soon as I drop in the new website, it goes back to 8. I tried to add a screenshot of the page. I don't have Microsoft Paint, so I pasted the screen shot in a word doc, but I can't add that as an image.

You can zoom out on the page (hold down the Ctrl key and tap the - key once or twice) to fit more.

Firefox may not remember this unless you also disable a setting. You can do that here:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newtab and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.newtab.preload preference to switch its value from true to false

After the change, if you have any "new tab" pages open, close them, and open a new one, change the zoom setting, and now it should be remembered.

If you do not want to reduce the zoom level, there are some add-ons to tweak the page. The following is mentioned often:

By the way, you could start paint by typing or pasting the following in the Start menu search box and pressing Enter:
