It load with other browsers by not with Firefox on either of my two computers or with my android.

My XP OS was loading fine this am; but after I updated my Firefox, it stopped loading. Here is my site. http://weareisrael.org/

Is it possible that the new version does not like the plugin called "jQuery Vertical Mega Menu?"

Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing on both my XP and Win 7 computers. And my android looks the same also. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4289827/Screenshot%202015-05-15%2012.36.30.png

Sure would appreciate you thoughts.

Michael

One more, then I'll stop: Some WordPress plugins include browser sniffing code that may tweak the output for different browsers. Recently there was one that worked fine up to Firefox 35 and caused problems in Firefox 36 (Why can't I or my clients view my own website on FireFox?). Conversely, sometimes a plugin update can cause things to go haywire. So it's worth trying to disable WordPress plugins to see whether that makes a difference.

I don't see the body of that page in Firefox 38.0.1. or Firefox 28.0 or even in Opera 21.0. I see what is in your screenshot.

It does work in IE 8.0.

The problem isn't with the latest Firefox update

Many times there is a little very small "happy face" where the text should be. I see it in 8 and I see it in Google Chrome.

How can I get my site back up?

Are you hosted by WordPress? I would contact their tech support to check on whether your site was hacked or some core files became corrupted.

By the way, to see your site without the influence of cached files, the way others might see it, try:

  • in Firefox, a Private window (Ctrl+Shift+p)
  • in Chrome, an Incognito window or tab
  • in IE, an In Private window

I have now changed my theme but it still does not want to work om Firefox

Thanks also the-edmeister for your comment but it does still seem to me that the problem is in Firefox. It was working for me before the update.

But you guy know this stuff soooo much better.

Thanks jscher2000 - I have disabled several plug-ins and even changed the theme. Maybe I will try some others.

The site seems to be working at this moment.

Were you able to fix it?

Thanks guys! It was the "WP Slimstat" plug-in that was the problem.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
