How do I make my address bar icon larger?
The icons on my address bar are too small. I have the add-on Theme and Font Size Changer enabled and that is WONDERFUL for changing my title bars, menus, etc, but it does not change the size of the icons (ie. the download button, the home and sync buttons, etc.) I downloaded Aeon Big and Big Buttons, but those are HUGE. I just need "bigger" buttons...not huge.
I have read about adding code in chrome.cs (or whatever) and I could not follow it at all. I'm guessing the answer lies in an add-on somewhere...

How do you feel about the size of text in websites? If you wouldn't mind that being larger as well, you can increase the global setting for "zoom" that applies both to the user interface and to content.
By default, Firefox uses your Windows zoom factor. Depending on your display, you might have this as a default setting such as 125% or you might have modified it to enlarge (150%) or reduce (100%) the setting Windows-wide.
To free Firefox from this default and set your own, you would make the change here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste pix and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and try changing its value to 1.5 which would behave as though your Windows zoom factor is 150%. You may need to switch back and forth to other windows/tabs to see how it's affecting them.
Be careful not to set this value too low because then everything becomes unreadable and hard to edit back to normal.
To return to the default setting, right-click > Reset on the preference.
Note: this also may allow you to discontinue using Theme Font & Size Changer since it is proportional for both text and images.
Note #2: some people find the icons blurry when using this method. In that case, an add-on that has appropriate sized icons would be the best solution.

jscher...thank you! I took your advice regarding zoom...but it was wayyy easier than that. Theme and Font Changer has a universal zoom....I just increased it. This made my font too big for comfort, so I just had to reduce the font (again, all on a simple menu in my theme and font changer add-on). I also have NoSqint, so some of my previous site settings had to be changed....but, again, super easy to do using NoSquint settings.
By the way, for anyone else finding this post: you have to download Theme and Font Changer for Firefox and as well as Theme and Font Changer for Thunderbird if you want to customize that as well. (and I could not browse the internet without my NoSquint...it remembers every custom setting from every site I visit)
That setting in the Theme Font & Size Changer modifies the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref, so the result is the same, but easier to do.
cor-el....I assumed as much.....but was thrilled and delighted to not have to monkey with code and config. :)
