Uninstall firefox, Then download the version which you want to install.
Firefox 36 is a beta pre-release version.
You can get the latest release version here. https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html That URL always has the most recent Release version, and is the full-installer package. So you may want to bookmark that page for future reference.
