welcome to firefox, mozilla, yahoo toolbar tabs load every time I start firefox and every web page after firefox lodx, load very slowly
Every time I run Firefox in addition to my homy page Firefox also loads welcome to Firefox tabs, a Thank you for Installing Yahoo toolbar tab and pop-up, and for the last week or so a tab for the Blur tracking blocker (which, incidentally, tells me you're tracking me). In addition to that, ever subsequent web page I load after firefox runs taxes forever - sometimes minutes to load. I usually have to click stop loading and reload in the address bat at least once.
For the particulars, this is Firefox 34 running on an HP Pavillion tower. I'm pretty sure the following should tell you the rest of what you need:

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
Some anti-virus programs block changes for settings. Disable this.
