No option to uninstall Shockwave for director plugin
I want to get by without Adobe and have uninstalled all but am left with this shockwave for director plugin that only give options whether to activate or not. But I want it gone. How do I do that?

You can uninstall it from your Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features.
Alternatively, if you cannot find it in that list, in Firefox you can enter about:plugins in your address bar to find the location of the dll and move/delete it from there.

Thanks. The about:plugins way worked. I couldn't use the control panel as it didn't list the plugin. Good to know this method as there are some other plugins that got installed that I don't think I need, or use, so I can declutter.
