I recently updated Firefox on my old WinXP machine and the Silverlight pluggin is no longer working. When I try to use the "D&D Character Builder: Launch" button on this page: http://archive.wizards.com/dnd/tools.aspx it keeps asking me to install Silverlight. Silverlight is installed and updated to the newest version. The function works fine on my Win7 machine, but it requested me to enable Silverlight after I installed it. So I am guessing that the new version of Firefox may have disabled Silverlight.

Ok, so after jumping thru all sorts of hoops trying to figure out how to tell Firefox to enable Silverlight I finally came up with this fix... First I tried to see if I could make the (above linked) button work on my other computer (the Win7 machine), which required me to install and enable Silverlight since it wasn't already installed on that machine. So what I tried that worked on my WinXP machine was uninstalling Silverlight and reinstalling it, which brought me back around to the same query about enabling Silverlight for that page.

This still leaves the question about how you would normally tell Firefox to enable it without having to go thru that unneeded effort.
