just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

How to disbale most visited websites get automatically added in homepage of Firefox android browser ?

I kept shortcuts option enabled to add shortcut manually as per user choice. I don't want browser to add most recently visited websites to get add as shortcuts in tile form in homepage of firebox browser.

Is there any config to disabled for this issue ? Please help

If I close some tabs and then close FF in the next period of time, more than half of the time when I open it again the tabs are still there. Could be a cache problem? OnePlus 6t here, last FF update installed

Whenever the app leaves the foreground, even for half a second, or if I switch tabs and then return to the original tab, it refreshes and I lose all the data on it. When I need to copy information to fill out a form, or get a code from a 2fa app, I lose all the the progress. This is driving me crazy and making it almost impossible for me to use Firefox as my main browser. I shouldn't have to restart a whole form because I got a phone call and went to the call screen for a second. Battery optimizations are all disabled.

Tabs on android app "unload" themselves whenever I minimize the browser I'm 100% sure I've toggled an option to kill apps when they're minized in phone settings, and thus issue only happens with the Firefox browser and nothing else. I have the latest version.

When I press the home button, the tab I was on remains in the background and a new tab is opened if I tap on one of the shortcuts. Is it possible to make it so that it stays in the same tab like on PC?

Seems to be a bug on Firefox on Android where the tabs don't show the right page. I haven't been able to track down exact steps to reproduce, but it happens regularly on my phone.

Hello, I have one Android phone with Firefox and many, many tabs open in it. I am going to migrate to another Android and would like to have all those tabs open on the new device. I googled and found Firefox sync. Tried that but on the new device all the tabs are visible in a list of tabs from the other devices but they are not opened ! I would need to go through all of them and then open each (too many to do that manually). Is there any semi-automatic way of having all the tabs from the old device opened (as tabs) on the new device ?

If there is no such way I can alos try low-level solutions i.e.: that requires accessing both phones over USB and copying particular files.

OVER THREE YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING THIS. When I tap a link in an app, I want it to open IN FIREFOX. Not some custom tab. Not some special pseudo in-app environment. IN. FIREFOX. EVERY OTHER browser on Android can do this. Don't give me some BS answer about removing Firefox as my default browser, either. That causes it to either open in the app I'm using, or the phone's built-in browser, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE SECURE. If you really care about security, like you're trying to sell us you are, you will fix this yesterday.

Is there a way to search through my open tabs? If not, PLEASE create that feature.

Also, is there a way to see the previous pages that have been opened in a tab? Right now, I have to just keep backspacing through previous tabs hoping to find the one I'm looking for. If not, please ad d a way to view and select previously opened tabs before I start backspacing through them.

Is there a way to sort open tabs, at least alphabetically? If not, that would be a very nice feature to have.

Hi. Why on Android if i open proton email one box in one CART tab. And then i open new tab CART and i want to open another email proton. Diffrent email but the same domian its not posible opning, only one e-mail in two tabs? Why only on Android its not work! On PC is no problem! Why?

I open a new tab (link from email or a other page usually). I read the bloody thing. I click the number of open tabs to display all open. I close the tab with the x. It goes away (closes). It gives me the option to undo. I wait until that goes away. I wait few more seconds and swipe down on the "open tabs" frame. It closes and the number says 7. It agrees with what I see open, and the visible content is from tab #7 I wait 5 minutes. I close Firefox and wait 5-10 minutes. I open Firefox... I'm up to 22 now. This has been going on for about a week (at least) now.

In the past before this started happening, occasionally if I was moving too fast it would happen, so I would go slower (I thought cache) and it would work. Now, it's ridiculous.

NOTE : there are 7 tabs I want to keep open for now... I've been trying to close all the rest for some time now!

How to access inactive tabs in Firefox for Android? In options I have set to never close tabs but an option for inactive tabs was set to 2 weeks. So I assumed that there is somewhere a list of inactive tabs that you can access and activate them.

I am trying to move all the synced tabs brought in from android chrome and Firefox pc into the current active tabs I have on Firefox android.

I've only been able to get 1 at a time to move over, but I have well over a hundred open in putting the two other browsers together..

Everything I've been able to look up about it only deals either the syncing part.

And, is there a way to have am active sync? As in, I open a tab in Firefox on laptop, it opens that tab on my Firefox mobile? And vice versa.

I have a plenty of tabs accumulated in my FF on Android, v119.1.1 (Build #2015984795), 2a75e15258+ GV: 119.0.2-20231108221453 AS: 119.0.

Within Tabs menu there is Share all tabs option. When clicked, the Save as PDF, Print, and typical android sharing options are presented.

Click on Save as PDF does nothing. Sharing to other apps works partially (text list is shared, but some parts of it are not kinks but a concatenated text of tabs titles combined together, not clickable, not https:// part).

The phone has lots of tabs, many of which are deactivated.

I want to backup them and review on bigger screen, but can't do that :)

Sharing to other devices connected via Mozilla account shares only subset of tabs, not sure about the logic, the most recent ones for sure + some deactivated but not all of them.

On the mobile app for Android (Google Pixel 2 XL, Android version 11), there's this really annoying issue where tabs are constantly duplicated. Normally, it's when I search something on Google (through Firefox). It pulls up the search results, of course. But when I hit a link, here's what happens: the tab is redirected as it should be, but simultaneously another tab is opened, which is a duplicate of the original tab (the one with the search results), and Firefox switches to view that tab, tab 2. So I have to go back to tab 1 to see whatever, and usually I then close tab 2. After this, once I've been hit a few links on a single tab, caused that tab to redirect a few times, it stops doing this. I've also noticed a similar issue, specifically with Google images in Firefox. Sometimes, when I open a picture to view it, every time I go to the tab with the picture, it opens a tab of the Google images page (before I selected a picture). This will happen endlessly sometimes, every time I open the tab to view the picture, meaning I never actually get to see the picture.
