How do I turn off swipe to delete a link in collections? If I'm scrolling through the links and my finger a millimeter or two to the left the link slides and is gone with no recover option. Ive lost so many important links this way.

I was using Firefox Stable, but whenever I browsed web pages outside, I changed to Nightly due to excessive packet usage caused by prefetching, and turned off all settings regarding auto-connect in about:config. One thing that is questionable is that unlike Stable, it does not properly support 120Hz refresh rate.

It seemed to stutter whenever I scrolled through web pages, so I changed the settings related to refresh rate in about:config, but nothing changed. (Instead, the UFO Test shows up to 90-100FPS.)

I'm using Firefox for Android on a Kindle fire tablet.

Just to be very clear: I am not trying to block a website. I'm trying prevent a site from opening other sites in other tabs. I cannot find anything about pop-ups in the settings, and I don't even know if it's technically a “pop-up” if it is opened in a new tab

Every potential answer I've been able to find on the web to this question begins with "enter about:config in the address bar." But when I to try enter this and then press the enter button, nothing happens. Just a blank screen.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to go about this?

Firefox doesnt even enter passwords for Firefox. HOW DO I DESIGNATE FIREFOX AS DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE AND PREVENT IT BEING CHANGED. the directions how to add a search engine are indecipherable and dont work.

when I click a link, always a pop up comes up asking to which app the link should use to open.. Let's say I have another app as default but when I browse in Firefox it's always asking for which application it should open.. when I click firefox it's always opening a new tab to open the link. it's keep opening a new tab everytime

For the last several weeks I have noticed that Firefox on Android is no longer reliably deleting cache/cookies etc on exit. I have verified option to delete browsing history on exit is enabled and and everything excluding downloads is selected to be deleted. I I am no longer consistently signed out of browsing sessions when selecting exit in menu main and restarting Firefox. Most of the time after re-opening Firefox, I am still signed in to various websites. I never had this problem in the past. If I force stop Firefox and clear storage cache, then I am logged out of browser sessions. Please advise if something has changed or if this is a bug.

Firefox Android on an older Sony Xperia Android Tab (2016) still receiving Firefox updates, would you believe it, cannot access about:config page -- and yes it's about:config I'm attempting to access. Firefox adress bar icon displays site warning and freezes the page load whatever setting i try in Firefox settings.

No antimalware or such nonsense used on the device, just as fake in protecting my privacy as (foreign) gov.-sponsored whitelabel antimalware and privacy search engines -- remembering the recent Bing API-blackout that displayed a Bing search engine error message in all of the so called's etc etc

I'm not logged in on the device, as in not syncing an access all home living room device in any way. I don't need a breadcrum trail of other users leading to my accounts.

So what am I after? I don't want a stored cache of recently visited pages that apparently hog the limited memory and I want to limit the amount of 'recently visited pages'-cache stored in Firefox on Android. I want Firefox to be *pristine (beyond the moniker settings available as 'clear all' at Firefox close) each time a user picks up the tab. So, there's one or two settings under about:config limiting the recently visited pages cache to the latest visited only after closing Firefox -- lowest setting available (?) is 0, but hey, that's life.

So for the past month or so, Firefox Mobile keeps resetting my preferences. I'll open up the browser to the home screen and find the layout as shown in screenshot 1. So I go into the settings and find it as 2, and have to reset it to my preferences as shown in 3.(
