Hi. I use Firefox for Android. In settings, there is an option called "external download manager" (an approximate translation from my language; framed on the screenshot anyway). And I can't resolve the difference whether I turn it on or not. What does this affect? Thanks in advance!

Please fix this! I specifically set it in the settings (on Android) so that no websites open in apps. And yet it keeps asking me whether to open them! There’s no option to "don’t ask again".

Here’s an example: I have two accounts on AliExpress — one is logged into the app, the other in the web browser! And I absolutely don’t want it to open in the app, because what for???

Please fix it so that when I have it set in the settings not to open in the app, it really doesn’t open — and doesn’t keep asking like an idiot!?

How specifically do I stop the current version of Firefox for Android from automatically refreshing its self without me specifically refreshing it? This is such a widespread nuisance for people, why can you guys not fix this?

I do habe a description, hoffe to aktivste JavaScript, but I Canterbury find Outlook how to get to "about:config" to choose "Javascript enabled" in order to Check if JavaScript ist aktivsten there. Does anyone know, how I get to the configeration-editor "about:config"?

I am trying to enable GPC on my phone as I have been having problems for a long time. When I type it into the address bar, nothing happens.So unable to choose the preference I require. Thank you

Im trying to watch a video and im only getting this message telling me to enable Javascript in my browser settings, How in Gods name is this accomplished

It seems that Javascript might not be enabled in Firefox on Android. I've seen old answers advising going to about:config, but there is no such target anymore. All that typing that in does is search for about:config. That's obviously not very useful.

On July 2nd, I began receiving error messages in emails that connect with Healthcare apps that I need to check settings in my browser for Javascript & turn it back on.

I read in solutions that it's automatic, but there must be a way to activate it again. I even restarted my phone hoping that would solve it.

I have some websites that require pop-ups. I cannot get them to work in Firefox on my Android phone. Google searches reference a setting under "privacy and security" where I should be able to allow pop-ups in general or for certain URLs only, but I don't have that setting option.

I have Firefox version 139.4 if that helps.

I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊. Also the ability to set a custom wallpaper would be nice. thanks for taking the time, have a lovely day and God bless you wherever you are... 👍
