Print buttons on webpages will not open print options

This is not about the lack of ability to print a webpage from the browser, but that when scheduling an appointment and you have a print button on the page once you're set, the button shows you've touched it, but nothing is generated. I had both DMV appointment made as well as another site where there was something you could print a copy of and both sites had the same issue. I can tell it was registering that I had touched the button, but NOTHING happened. I finally broke down and opened Chrome and the button generated the option for me to print.

When I try printing a web page by "save as PDF" I don't know how to remove header & footer info. It's not a security issue (yet), but a nuisance. It makes it hard for me to format pages for length if I want to fit things better and reduce paper use.

Where are options for this? Is it controlled by Firefox? Samsung?

I've encountered a problem where the defaults appear to have changed.

The ability to adjust margins would help triage the problem.

Evidentially, about:config isn't supported on Android either.

I am a student using Android I installed Firefox believing in privacy and features. Now I feel like cheated because it doesn't provide the necessary options of print to PDF and option-full share menu.

I wonder why on earth such a famous browser doesn't provide these basic very basic necessary options !

I really don't want to leave Firefox because I love it in a way ! Yet I am being forced to move to another better browser because it's my routine requires it.

I am waiting for the next update without hope.

It seems that printing in Firefox for Android is not possible. I don't understand this as I need to print constantly. I've always preferred Firefox to Chrome, but I'm going to have to quit Firefox and use Chrome or brave. Because they will let you print. If they can let you print so easily, why can't firefox? I also can't find a way to make a PDF. Print PDF is in the print menu which is not available, it seems. I also have printed PDFs in Firefox for Android, but I can't make a PDF in order to print one. This is just nuts, and is infuriating and a big time waster. Goodbye, Firefox.
