Hi, I have a Xiaomi Rednote 10 pro mobile phone. I have been a longstanding user of Firefox on numerous devices.

However I am having real difficulties on my phone when switching away from the app and returning (for example to check a code for MFA). I have checked battery settings (unrestricted), background autostart (enabled). I've tried locking the app in the recent processes list, in developer settings "don't keep activities" is off and background processes is set to standard limit.

Even with only 1 other app in memory every time I activate another app and return the page reloads and I lose what I was doing.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and have the most recent update.

Other browsers on my phone such as Chrome do not exhibit this behaviour - when I switch apps and back again the page in the browser is retained.

Is this a known fault with this type of phone? Am I doing something obviously wrong? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

There's an issue with Android Firefox where a tab sometimes just suddenly freezes and there's nothing I can do to unfreeze it. I cleared cache, restarted the app, refreshes the page and nothing works. The only thing I can do is to copy the link, close the tab, and open the link on a new tab.

I've been using Mozilla browsers since Mosaic, when I built netsys.com, delta.net, inetexpress.com and Damocles.com.

I'm trying to login to many sites which send a text message to my phone... But 80% of the time, my Firefox web browser refreshes.

I'm using android 13, 1/1/26 release on a moto G play with all background operations disabled, battery saver on...

Even if I allow Firefox to operate in the background... It doesn't matter.

Firefox for android keeps crashing period open it up and in a few seconds it'll crash and it just keeps doing this period

Also comma when I sync it with my computer, it syncs everything but the bookmarks

Any progress on this? Import bookmarks is already in Firefox android Nightly — export bookmarks should be just as easy, especially for privacy-first users who can't use Sync.

I urge your design team to take a close look at the Google Chrome Android application, as its interface is the gold standard for user experience. Currently, many users in our community feel that Firefox’s interface lacks the modern, intuitive, and perfectly polished feel that Chrome offers. We face several usability issues compared to the smooth experience Chrome provides. By adopting a layout, tab system, and overall aesthetic similar to Chrome, you would make the browser feel much more modern and efficient. This is a request echoed by a large number of users who want to stick with Firefox but find themselves missing the seamless interface of Chrome. I am following the instructions to ad a site to my exceptions buts it's just runs me in a circle, please tell me how to ad a page to exceptions if it says cookies must be allowed in browser

Hello everyone .

I have used Firefox for years now and I always keep my sync on. When I sign in to a new device, I sync and all my data. I had a problem with my PC today and I downloaded Firefox for mobile on my Android tab. I tried signing in but forgotten my password, I did a reset and logged in and tried to sync but I can't find my previous data. I can't even see any of my previous devices. This is strange because it has always worked

Any help will be deeply appreciated.
