Hi, for the past week whenever I open Firefox (FF) it works normally for about two minutes, then slows, then causes my entire mac to slow and freeze. If I don't force quit FF quickly, my mac crashes. Once I force quit FF everything is fine. I've been using Chrome for the past week or so hoping FF would fix itself with an update but no go.

Anyone else having this issues?

I would like Firefox to access the Mac OS "Dictionary" for immediate definitions, the way it accesses its own dictionary for spelling, or as Mac's Safari, accesses the Mac dictionary. I see nothing listed in Firefox>Services, nor does the OS's Services Preferences show Firefox as an app to connect services to. I can always get the definition with a right-click on the highlighted word, but I'd like the definition to be a readily available as the spelling.

TIA,

This is the 3rd time I've posted here about crashing in the last month or so. I really do apologize for having to post again but I simply haven’t gotten to a solution. I really need to continue using Firefox as all the other browsers are significantly slower in my experience and I'm in the browser around-the-clock. I’d be willing to pay for customer support from Mozilla but they do not provide any type of support directly as most of you probably know.

Please review this link here to see all the steps I have already taken to troubleshoot the crashes.

I really thought that the crash reports I had would help me pinpoint the issue but it appears as though they’re not very helpful for those who can interpret them. If that’s not the case, I greatly appreciate it if anybody can dig through them to uncover some insights related to why I may be having frequent crashes (I'm willing to pay).

Crash ID from a recent crash: bp-058c91cd-4b9c-46d1-bd12-640ba0210928

Thank you so much for any help.

A few weeks ago, I had an iMac meltdown. When the repair was finished, I no longer had any of my browser history or preferences, though the tech was able to save my bookmarks. But there's one thing I can't figure out, in terms of restoring Firefox in a way that duplicates how I had it.

At the top of a Firefox page, when multiple tabs are open, I used to have a button to the right of the most recent tab, near the + sign, that gave me a vertical list of all open tabs. That's gone, and although I've looked through all my preferences, I can't fine one that brings it back.

Thankful for any suggestions!
