There is one correspondent whose emails come in, flash on the screen for a second and then disappear. I find it in Junk. I've got the email addres whitelisted on my provider's filters. How can I intercept this process. It's only the one address. So far. Can I whitelist address on TB? I've got it set to not intercept anyone in my address book and this address is definitely inmy address book.

I always use Thunderbird online so no need for offline storage. When I installed Thunderbird, online storage was set on for all accounts. I've since turned this off, but would like to recover the disk space. What Windows folders can I delete? Thanks.

I use comcast.net for my mail email, Gmail for my second, and I want to add both. THat is another topic I want addressed if it is possible to have tow simultaneous email accounts with the same Thunderbird email program, so I can switch back and forth when I need to.

My main concern is that when I go to add comcast email, it automatically forces me to sign in to the Xfinity website. I also have two-factor authentication where I click on the Xfinity app on my phone giving me permission to sign in.

It tries twice even after I click on the Xfinity app to give permission, but it fails. So, Thunderbird is pointless without me being able to successfully add my email client. What say you? And do not in any way point the finger at me, my devices, my phone or Comcast. Please get the solution, without being a narcissist, to fix my problem. I have all I can stand of this in the past. I appreciate it kindly, and thank you.

And I am not allowed to use any other form to sign in, even a text message because I use the Xfinity app. I am unable to change that, so get this fixed for me. I used Microsoft Outlook in the past with no issues with Xfinity and Gmail. See image screenshot on this post

Everything is successful up until when I click on "Done" and then TB hangs on "Checking password...".

Old topics on this have stated the issue is resolved by "uninstalling then reinstalling Thunderbird".

Not very practical for me - I have 37 email accounts.

I need another solution to the problem.

And I'm also curious - why I'm able to add (over time) 37 email accounts and now suddenly I can't add any more because of this issue?

Please, can someone provide an alternate solution - "uninstalling and reinstalling" when 37 accounts are involved doesn't make much sense.

Hello, I am a tinkerer and I would like to tweak my Firefox Developer Edition to suit my tastes, but I don't know what each of the preference commands does. Could you provide a list explaining what each command does and, if possible, how to use them? I don't want to reinstall Firefox.italic text I prefer to do things properly. Thanks

In new Windows 11 I created a Folder named General. In there I placed non urgent received e. mails.

Now I cannot find it.  It used to be in the small window left hand side where folders such as Bin, Scams, Sent are. (Been through also Application Basics where my profile is.)   Thanks for any help.

Hello, I have not really a problem, but I want to know: how is it possible to get spam-emails without showing my email adress? In a normal list I can see the receiver adresses, in these spam emails with cryptical receiver that is not possible; I get even spam emails without any shown receiver Is this possible with BCC-Adresses?

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash.

Details: expected value at line 1 column 1

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I am running a Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 11.

heb.com i can login, but my password manager takes me to

accounts.heb.com, & it gives me the error message. I went to

heb.com, logged in & saved it. When I looked at passwords again it had

accounts.heb.com, & I cant edit that. I don't know if its Firefox or HEB.

A recent Firefox upgrade eliminated my toolbar "History" Icon. I want it back. Please do not suggest a three stroke keyboard alternative. Thank you.

First of all, I would like to thank you for allowing me to receive e-mail through your organization for quite a few years now. Up until about 3 days ago, there has never been any problems with it. Why is it, that I have NOT been able to receive my e-mails FOR THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS NOW? The last thing you sent me was a notice that there was some sort of faulty access by someone to my e-mail account and that I would have to change my password. McAfee malware has entered the firefox browser a couple of days ago claiming viruses have been detected & requires me to click on their popup to remove it. Additional warning follow and reoccur every couple of minutes. I don’t have McAfee Anti-virus software on my computer & have not installed any new software for some time. The anti-software I have works fine (Spybot & Microsoft Security Essentials) and detects no problems. The first application I initiate upon boot-up each morning is Firefox and that’s when the problem begins. It is somehow related to Firefox. I cannot find any processes in play.

I can open Chrome with no problems (however, Chrome no longer supports Windows 7. I’m using Windows 7 Pro. I tried all the free malware scanning programs suggested but nothing found.

I cannot find any link to Firefox Desktop Support as you suggested. Can you please forward this email to that support team.

Hi. My hard drive crashed. I have a new pc and the old drive is readable in a drive enclosure hooked up to new PC via usb. I have done the typical search for the appdata profile file, but I am not sure what I have here. I have attached a screenshot of the old drive and a global search on "Thunderbird". I am not sure where the profile file is residing. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

I have thunderbird on two computers with to email accounts from aol.com. Recently on one computer the emails from the second account inbox are coming into the inbox of the first account not in the second inbox. How can I fix this ?

I have used Thunderbird for many, many years with my @cox.net email addresses with no problems. Recently Cox moved all their email to Yahoo servers.

I have followed all the instructions for accessing email on the Yahoo servers using Thunderbird and have triple checked all the settings, but I still cannot download the emails. I get 2 messages: "Sending of password for user colorcreations@cox.net did not succeed. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later." and: "Login to server pop.mail.yahoo.com with username colorcreations@cox.net failed." asking to retry, enter new password, or cancel.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. I cannot be the only Thunderbird user having this problem.
