The fact that you fired your CEO for exercising his 1st Amendment rights cause me to fire you! I have removed firefox from all 7 of my family's computers!

I am not against gay marriage any more than I am against Unicorns! Neither ONE EXISTS! Marriage is between one man and one woman. There may be gay unions, or gay couples, but there is NO such thing as gay marriage. That said, you chose to discriminate against a man who simply exercised his Constitutional 1st Amendment right. I am exercising my right to boycott Mozilla and firefox.

Hi,

I want to clarify that Brendan has decided to step down. He hasn't been fired.

I respect your decision to stop using Firefox as a sign of protest regardless of your reasons.

We are sad to see you go. Ibai

Whatever article(s) you read that claimed he was fired is incorrect as they likely did not get the info from Mozilla source.

He was not forced to step down or fired as ceo from Mozilla by board as it was his own choice to do so for Mozilla and the Mozilla communality.

Discussion about Brendan Eich, who has recently resigned as Mozilla CEO, is actually off-topic for the Mozilla support forum. See Mozilla Support rules and guidelines:

* Posts in the Mozilla support forum must be either questions about the use of Firefox, Firefox for Android, Firefox OS, Thunderbird, Webmaker or answers to those questions. Users who post about things other than Mozilla support will be directed to an alternative discussion place (ex: mozillaZine) if appropriate.

The mozilla.governance forum would be a better place for any further discussion about this topic. The Google Groups link is https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mozilla.governance
