Firefox displays misc nonsense characters for text on Mac OS 10.6.3
Inconsistently, but fairly often, random characters will appear for the text when viewing web pages, or even in my Rackspace email (but only in the signature). One common place this happens is on the Slide.com web site. The entire site is not affected, only some areas. Any fix for this? It only happens on one of my Macs: Intel 2Ghz Core Duo, OS 10.6.3. My other Macs with the same OS do not have this problem.

Try playing about with the character set for the offecning pages View > Character encoding
Also your default character set - for when a website doesn't specify one Options/Preferences > Content > Fonts/Advanced
Thanks, but this did not solve the problem. Any other ideas?
Just today I received an email in RackSpace that the entire message was unreadable random characters, yet all the other messages were fine.
