Don't worry, this is fixable. Windows 10 reaching End of Support (EOS) does not mean Firefox stops working immediately. You can still use Firefox safely.

Let's troubleshoot step by step:

1. First, try updating Firefox

If you can open Firefox → menu → Help → About Firefox

Install the latest version. It still fully supports Windows 10.

2. If Firefox won't open at all

Download the offline installer from Mozilla's official website using another PC or your phone

Copy it to a USB drive

Run the installer on your Windows 10 PC (this will reinstall/repair Firefox)

3. Still not working? Try Firefox ESR

Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) is designed for older systems

Download it from Mozilla's website (search "Firefox ESR")

It will get security updates for much longer on Windows 10

4. Long-term recommendations

Upgrade to Windows 11 if your PC supports it (check in Settings > Windows Update)

Or consider switching to a lightweight Linux distribution like Linux Mint (or Zorin OS wich I use myself and really like because it is so similar to windows) – Firefox works great on it, and it's free

Important: Avoid using an outdated Firefox on an outdated Windows 10 for things like banking or email. But for now, Firefox still works.

Can you tell me exactly what happens when you try to open Firefox? Any error message? Then I can help you more precisely.

Firefox 116.0 to the current 151.0.2 Release still requires Windows 10, 11 to run. Windows 11 is basically based on the same NT 10.0 as Windows 10 is which is why some sites may think some Firefox users on Win11 is using Win10.
