Why is Thunderbird no longer able to log into my AOL IMAP account after the 3/10/2026 update?
When I try retrieving my email from my AOL account (IMAP) using Thunderbird and Windows 11 I get the message "Authentication failure while connecting to server imap.aol.com." This account was working fine for months until the T-bird update. I have several other accounts on T-Bird, including Gmail and others, and they're still working just fine.
I have double-checked all the account settings and tried deleting the AOL account from T-Bird and setting it up again from scratch, but the problem persists.

You updated to version 148 yesterday, or close to it?
Please tell us, does something in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-yahoo help?
