How come FF translates sites in tiny, irrelevant languages like Bulgarian, but not from major languages like Chinese and Arabic?!?

I wish I could dump Edge, but this FF deficit forces me to keep Edge on my computer...

Hi

I would not think the Bulgaria is an irrelevant language, especially not to people from that country.

While Chinese and Arabic are not currently available, I believe that the intention is to add more languages over time.

I think it is more likely due to political pressure or a racist/ideological attitude on the part of Mozilla. Is it coincidence that the languages of none of the supposed "axis of evil" countries are available, i.e. Chinese, Russian, Farsi, and Korean? At the same time there are tiny languages such as Estonian, spoken by a mere 1 million speakers.

Note that Firefox translation works locally and a language like Chinese with a large amount of characters will be a big challenge.

Russian has a similar number of letters as the Latin alphabet. Not sure about Farsi...

Remember that this project was initially aimed at translating European languages. ru**ian and Persian are already in Nightly, and Korean, Chinese and Japanese will be added up to the end of this year.
