firefox intermitent flickering

Firefox on new laptop windows 11. (AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS with Radeon Graphics)
Have noticed only when i use Firefox i get intermittent flickering on the screen. It does not effect browsing, though it has frozen on a couple of occasions. I don't know if that is connected or just something else.
I have tried two trouble shoot 'fixes' i found whilst looking for a solution and neither have worked.
1 - turning off recommended performance settings and hardware acceleration. 1b - turning hardware acceleration back on.
2 - checking in troubleshoot mode to see if it's an extension. Flickering happened in troubleshoot mode too.

Can you find your model driver page to verify that drivers are current. https://www.asus.com/support?id=155
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.
jonzn4SUSE - yes all up to date.
zeroknight - no flickering using developer edition. I signed in with my profile, so all extensions are the same and running.
