Hello, my logins are gone since yesterday. about:profiles gives me just 1 profile. in the profile folder there is the logins.json and the key4.db file but it wont load the two files when I start firefox. They contain 100+ logins.

All the troubleshoot sites say, I should make sure, these two files are in the main profile folder and they are. The two files also dont seem corrupted.

Thank you.

I assume that you have opened logins.json to check whether the files is valid JSON ?

You can try to temporarily set signon.debug = true on the about:config page and close and restart Firefox and then check the Browser Console for logins related messages after you have opened about:logins to trigger the loading of the logins.

You can create a backup copy of logins.json and key4.db just to be sure.

You can look a utility to browse System Restore points to see if you can find a working matching logins.json and key4.db.

Thank you. Yes I checked the logins.json, its valid. I set the signon.debug=true, restartet and caught the errors in the added screenshot and others. It appears to find no profile, though I only got one which is loaded correctly if I start the browser in "safe mode". SO if I start firefox in savemode, all logins are there. Replacing the logins.json and key4.db with older versions didnt work for me.

Any Idea why its working in "safe mode" ? (fehlerbehebungsmodus in german) Thanks a lot.
