Greetings,

There is a webpage about gmail account recovery in the uk that keeps showing up pin my browser when I go to type in something for google. This says has a red slash through the little lock. I have deleted history, reinstalled Firefox, cleared cache, but this site keeps appearing. It doesn't seem to show up in bookmarks. If the site loads, it doesn't have a little blue star next to the site address! I tried to block the site, but Firefox only has an addon to block the site.

Any ideas how to get rid of this website info?

I read someone's post suggesting there is a cache somewhere, but I'm not sure where to delete that info.

Please and Thank you. :)

/Saturn

This is likely an http:// website.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
