With a multi-monitor setup, the save dialog appears on a monitor to the left of where Firefoxis
I have multiple monitors on Windows. When Firefox is on a different monitor other than the "primary"/far left monitor, clicking on a file link that causes the save-as or open-with-another-app dialog to appear, that dialog always appears on a monitor to the left of the one on which the Firefox browser is located; counting monitor 1 as far left, increasing to the right:
- Firefox on monitor 1, dialog appears on monitor 1
- Firefox on monitor 2, dialog appears on monitor 1
- Firefox on monitor 3, dialog appears on monitor 2
- Firefox on monitor 4, dialog appears on monitor 2
This frequently causes me to think that the dialog is not open as it is out of the area where I am focussing.
Why does the dialog not appear on the same monitor on which the firefox browser is located and is there a way to correct the behaviour so that it does?
