Whenever I want to search something or type anything in Firefox it will automatically click what ever my cursor is over. This only happens when I press the A key though. I've tested it and it only happens on Firefox, and it doesn't matter what it is that the cursor is hovering over, as long as I press the A key it will register as a click. Is there a way to disable this as It's incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to search something and I end up "clicking" some random Youtube video or link.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue. Try running Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists.

If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, it's likely caused by an extension installed on Firefox.

Hope this helps.

safemode did fix it, does that mean that its because of one of my addons?

Never mind, just did some tests. It was because of an addon (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imakeclick/?src=search)

Strange though, because I've had it downloaded for about 2 months now and it just became a problem a few days ago.

Thanks of the help!

Glad to hear that you were able to figure out what was causing the problem. Obviously a recent update to Firefox doesn't play well with that extension.

In most cases, I would recommend reporting this issue to the add-on developer directly so that they can fix it. However, given that the developer has not updated the add-on in over a year, I assume that they will probably not fix the add-on.

You are still welcome to report the issue to the developer using their support website/email on your add-on listing page if you so desire.
