Firefox 67 very slow https://browserbench.org/JetStream/
The WSL test takes for ever. I also get "Webpage is slowing down your browser" warning. This is a new problem as previously Firefox was as fast or faster the Opera and Edge. Win 10 64bit 1903. i7 4790, 16 gigs ram, 1tb Samsung 960 evo ssd. Tried with FF in safe mode, AV disabled etc. no change. Any help appreciated.

”Webpage is slowing down your browser” This is the new way the browser tells you there is a problem with the script program(s). https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script?cache=no
So firefox being dead slow compared to other common browsers is normal? Opera and Edge get through the WSL test in seconds while Firefox takes near forever? Several other test are way slower also. The final score is about 1/2 that of Opera and Edge.

I doubt that Firefox was faster in this benchmark before. Perhaps was in Jetstream 1. They've updated the test about 2 months ago.
OK, I guess you learn something new every day! Yes it was Jetstream 1.1 as the bookmark I have even says so. As long as you guys know about how slow Firefox is on this test I'm OK with it. I have used Firefox since version 1 was in beta. Was a Netscape fan before AOL got their hands on it. Netscape Navigator 3.04 Gold ruled! It's been a bumpy ride at times but Firefox is still my go to browser. Thanks for the info.
