Install on new computer gives message asking to override how Thunderbird identifies the site

I've installed Thunderbird on other computers and have never seen this error (?) message. I have an HP 15-bs188cl 64-bit laptop, running on Windows 10 Home, 16 gb memory, 2T hard drive.

Thunderbird seemed to install correctly. At least, no error messages. Then when I tried to set up a couple of existing email accounts on it, it gave me a screen that said "You are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site." In the past, I've always just entered the name of the email address like johndoe at gmx dot com and the password and Thunderbird took it from there. That's as far as I got and then I got this message. I feel uncomfortable overriding anything when I don't know why. I only tried setting up two email accounts a gmx one and a hotmail one and got the same message on both of them. I attached screen prints.

Also can you tell me how to copy my email addresses and all the folder info from Thunderbird in my old laptop to the new one, or point me to articles that tell me how to do that? And should that all be copied before I install Thunderbird or after?

As I see that for neither GMX or Outlook I think I cn safely assume you have one of those anti virus programs that think they should be a certifying authority. Without any of the safeguards or audits.

What are you using?

Click the view button and see who issues the certificate. I would guess your anti virus. Just to be clear, but allowing your anti virus to see your communication in the clear, law enforcement and bad pennies don't need to break your encrypted communications. They only need to hack your anti virus when it phones home for updates every day. or install a bugged version based on some secret court order. This is exactly the sort of thing the Australian government has just legislated to allow.
