I'm ready after MANY years to quit firefox so my printer will again work

I have a Epson work force 4734 printer which was working fine and now because of Mozilla it will not let my lap top connect to the printer. Epson reports "network is working correctly." Mozilla says their ("Epson security is not recognized) security will not allow the connection!!!!! Hours wasted!!
