Firefox for android uses the mozilla web push api and links into to Google Cloud Messaging (GCM). GCM is due to be deprecated in the next year. Does anyone know if GCM will be migrated to FCM for firefox for android push notifications? Thanks

At this moment there's no any plans for it.
