I don't have firefox.exe in my processes tab, but was using it this morning.

I'm going through the Task Manager but have no firefox.exe under the processes tab, but used firefox to get on to the internet this morning. Without clicking the firefox.exe tab, I can't finish to process. What do I have to do.

It is possible that Firefox updated and that your security software is blocking the new version.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program. Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
