My 'Details' in Bookmarks properties are all lost. I had info stored there.
I keep information in the Details section of my bookmarks. Since your newest update, all details for each of my bookmarked sites is completely gone.

Hi,
If you can't find all of your bookmarks and bookmark folders after updating to the new Firefox Quantum (version 57), try this solution:
- Click on the Library icon on your Firefox toolbar.
- Click on Bookmarks, then click on Bookmarking Tools.
- Click on Add Bookmarks Menu to the Toolbar.
- A Bookmarks Menu icon will be added to your toolbar.
- Click on the new Bookmarks Menu icon. You should get the same Bookmarks Menu as in earlier Firefox versions.
Let us know if this solves the problem.
- For other ways to customize Firefox, see Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
- To learn more about Firefox bookmarks, see Bookmarks in Firefox.
Please READ my original question. Your answer is a generic response that does not in any way address my issue. Yes, when the update happened, I figured out immediately how to add my Bookmark Menu back on my toolbar. That is not what I am discussing here. I am discussing that when I opposite click on my bookmark, then choose Properties, then scroll to my DESCRIPTION section... all of the detailed descriptions I had stored in there are ALL MISSING since your update.
Support Volunteers try our best to help answer and to solve your issues. Sorry to here that. Nothing can be done about that since it is gone as you say. I do not know the reason why that would happen.
It is always good to keep a copy of your bookmarks. Mine are from 95 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
Please update to version 57.0.2 as it fixes some issues including a issue that is in the Profile Folder where your bookmarks are. With luck they might fix but I doubt it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version
Again sorry as am sure there was a lot of work put into doing that. Please do keep a backup in the future.
I hope this does not take away from your Firefox Experience nor the exciting things possibly to do in Firefox 57+
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Thank you.
I do have a copy of the bookmarks, but now with the update I am forced to bring up a tab with the saved bookmarks to be able to view what was stored in the descriptions. Up until this latest update, I was able to view the descriptions directly in the bookmarks.
With the extra steps added on, it definitely is an unnecessary hassle. So, I will be looking for a different browser to use. Mozilla just updated themselves right out of favor with many, many people this time. I regret ever allowing this update.
