My Bookmarks dissapeared, restore did not work, there wae nothing in the file, by chance I found "backups" in the recycle bin! any ideas on how to retrieve them
My FireFox Bookmarks disappeared,There is nothing in the Backup file, by chance I found FireFox Bookmarks in the recycle bin. How do I get them out?

SUCCES!!! Found a reasonable backup of my Bookmarks in Windows Recycle Bin. To answer a question on this topic there was nothing in the "Backupfile" that Firefox was pointing to when I attempted the Bookmark Restore . I found the Backup file using Windows Explorer (a stab in the dark). Once I located that file, I returned to FireFox BookMark Restore and pointed to the location in Windows Recycle bin. My Bookmarks where restored, partially but I was able to use them.
Location details: C: > Recyclebin > Old Fire Fox Data > Bookmarkbackups > Favx7nty-?.XXXXXXXX.

The Windows Recycle bin? When you right-click an item in the Recycle bin, the context menu has an option to restore it to wherever it was deleted from. That is also available information (I can't remember whether that column is displayed automatically or whether you need to add it).
