Will Mozilla or the community be removing bookmarks/history from search term capability anytime in the near future? I ask this because if Mozilla is truly committed users' privacy then why is it that if you have search terms on when typing in the address bar the browser starts searching the user's bookmarks which should be PRIVATE. That kind of content has no business being part of any search within a browser. Mozilla seems to be forgetting they are developing a BROWSER and not an Operating System. As such their search should not act as an OS search would. If you wish to leave bookmark search ability in later releases, do so as an STANDALONE option. It right now is bundled WITH the search terms feature so that if you turn off bookmark searching you turn off search terms entirely. This is a HUGE oversight. I like the ability to have Firefox suggest search terms. BUT, it should not involve any PRIVATE browsing data period. At what point did Firefox as a browser start TRACKING the data we save? Our data is supposed to just be stored and not on public display without our knowledge by DEFAULT. Mozilla needs to rectify this issue ASAP.
