my computer was hacked and the perp stole my addresses to send emails to people in my address books, what do I do now?
I gave the perp full remote access to my computer thinking they were from Microsoft. I purchased a new computer in case they put something on the old one that would let them continue monitoring it. They must have immediately sent emails to everyone they could in my address book in my name before Mozzilla security shut them (my account) down. When I started to set up the Thunderbird email client on the new computer I was blocked by Mozzilla security and so I uninstalled the program fearing I would open a door for the perps to my new computer if I went forward with getting back access to my account. I have decided to use the email client that my website host provides for now. Is there anything else I should do to help stop these criminals? Thanks

I think you must change passwords and login with your host, not with thunderbird. Contact them.
