the options cannot be saved, every time i log on i check it & and they change. Also, my 5 yr old list of prohibited cookies got erased after sync- ing.

Using Sync for first time, my options, privacy, history, use customs settings, list of exception cookies prohibited got erased. Why isn't there a SAVE button ? After setting up SYNC, my settings change every time i log off ..its like starting over again every time i log on.. How can I get my 5 year old list of hundreds of prohibited cookies back ? by the way, this list of prohibited cookies did not transfer to my other computer like I expected., they are my list of "prohibited bookmarks".
