OS broken while updating
A friend tried to update my ZTE open to EU_DEV_FFOS_V1.0.0B01(SD_new) firmware or to FFOS_EU_EBAY_P821A10V1.0.0B06_LOG_DL - sorry I don't know it exactly. something went extremely wrong. the phone is not booting, just showing a grey screen, nothing else. Is there anything I can do before throwing it away? thank you

Hi gwendo, It sounds like it might have been bricked. There is a reference guide for the ZTE OPEN phones listed here:
However there are also instructions on ZTE's website for more information. If you have any other questions about how to do this, we can try to help.

Thanks again, but unfortunately my device refuses booting into fastboot-mode.
